Ingredients

- 2 lbs shrimp cleaned and deveined
- 1 1/2 cup lemon lime soda I used SPRITE
- 1/2 cup butter one stick
- 1 head garlic minced
- 4 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil or any cooking oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Scallions diagonally sliced
Instructions

Clean and Deveined shrimp.

In a bowl, put shrimp and pour in lemon lime soda

Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.

In a pan, heat oil over medium high heat.

Add butter and let it melt.

Add garlic, cook until lightly brown

Add the marinade, Turn to high heat and bring to boil for at least 5 mins.

Turn to medium heat and let it simmer.

Add oyster sauce. Mix until well combined.

Add brown sugar. Mix until it dissolves.

Let it simmer until sauce thickens.

Once sauce reached your desired consistency, add the shrimp.

Cook shrimp for about 5 mins or until turns pink. Do not overcook.

Stir to cook both side of the shrimp.

Add scallions and pepper. Stir.

Turn off the heat. Garnish with scallions.
