Ingredients

  • 2 lbs shrimp cleaned and deveined
  • 1 1/2 cup lemon lime soda I used SPRITE
  • 1/2 cup butter one stick
  • 1 head garlic minced
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or any cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Scallions diagonally sliced

Instructions

  • Clean and Deveined shrimp.
  • In a bowl, put shrimp and pour in lemon lime soda
  • Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.
  • In a pan, heat oil over medium high heat.
  • Add butter and let it melt.
  • Add garlic, cook until lightly brown
  • Add the marinade, Turn to high heat and bring to boil for at least 5 mins.
  • Turn to medium heat and let it simmer.
  • Add oyster sauce. Mix until well combined.
  • Add brown sugar. Mix until it dissolves.
  • Let it simmer until sauce thickens.
  • Once sauce reached your desired consistency, add the shrimp.
  • Cook shrimp for about 5 mins or until turns pink. Do not overcook.
  • Stir to cook both side of the shrimp.
  • Add scallions and pepper. Stir.
  • Turn off the heat. Garnish with scallions.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Notes
